There are very few feelings in this world that can come close to that feeling of having the perfect suit. At Sakks Menswear we make this our mission to give you this feeling from the moment you walk through the doors of our Southampton store to the moment you wear your perfectly tailored suit for the first time.

With over 40 years experience, our experts will make sure you have a luxurious and comfortable experience as we guide you through the world of Made-To-Measure suits.

  • The process begins with a comprehensive consultation, where you will have the opportunity to browse our extensive selection of premium fabrics and linings. During this session, you can specify the style you desire, whether it be a 2-Piece, 3-Piece, or Tuxedo suit. You will also be able to review examples of our past creations and discuss pricing options.

    Once you have chosen your preferred fabrics and style, we will move on to the measuring phase. This involves trying on various sizes, styles, and fits for jackets and trousers. We will take precise measurements and make any necessary adjustments to ensure that every aspect of the jacket, trousers, and waistcoat fits you perfectly.

    Upon completion of your suit, you will be notified via text, email, or phone call regarding its readiness for collection. This commences the second fitting for your Made-To-Measure suit, during which we will address any minor adjustments as necessary. Following the return of your suit from our tailors, a final fitting will take place, ensuring that you are fully prepared to take possession of your Made-To-Measure suit.

  • Standard delivery is typically within 4 to 6 weeks from the date the order is placed.

    For select times of the year, express delivery is available within 2 weeks for an additional charge.

  • The cost of a Made-to-Measure suit is based on multiple variables;

    • The fabric group your selected fabric belongs to

    • Whether you are looking for a 2-Piece suit, 3-Piece suit, Tuxedo, or individual pieces such as jacket, trousers or waistcoat

    • Any additional add ons.

  • Typically the Made-to-Measure suit service takes around an hour for the full service. We aim to make this experience as comfortable as possible with refreshments available and a friendly environment aimed to give you that personalised experience.

    2 hours free parking is available on site.

    Your shirt, your way. Alterations and personalization: adjust the length of shirt and sleeve and make any of these shirts your own by choosing collar, cuff and monogram.

    Choose from a plethora of different leathers, textures and designs that will get you attired for any occasion from weekend casual to urban chic. Don't forget that a great belt is not just about the belt but the buckle too - different shapes, designs and finishes help create truly unique belts.
